Statwing integrates with Quandl

Next time you use Quandl, click the “Statwing” button to statistically analyze a Quandl dataset.

Let’s say you were looking at this Quandl dataset of bitcoin prices over time.

You’d click the “Statwing” button in the right sidebar, find yourself in Statwing, and then start playing with the data.

In two clicks you can get a nice histogram and descriptive statistics for a column of values, like Bitcoin trade volumes:

Or click two more times and find out if a trend is statistically significant:

Or create a new variable in a few seconds, like transforming dates to days¬†(for example,¬†“9/29/2014” to “Monday”):

Or bucketing the days of the week into “Weekday” and “Weekend”, then seeing how they differ:

There’s a lot more to explore, but we’ll leave that to you. Enjoy!
